How Much Does a Jaco Bachelor Party Cost?
There is no single price for a Jaco bachelor party. The total depends on which home you choose, how many people share it, when you travel and which activities you add. This guide explains each cost driver so you can plan a budget, then get an exact quote from us.
We do not publish fixed prices here because rates change by season and availability. Live nightly rates are shown on each home’s Airbnb listing, and we can send a direct quote on WhatsApp.
Where the money goes
Villa accommodation
Usually the largest part of the budget. Larger villas cost more per night but are split between more people, so a full 7-bedroom home can work out close to the per-person cost of a smaller one. Holidays and the dry season (roughly December to April) are the busiest and most expensive dates.
Airport transportation
Jaco is roughly a 1.5–2 hour drive from San José International Airport (SJO). A private driver for the whole group is usually simpler than several taxis or rental cars. We can arrange drivers. Ask for a quote with your arrival times.
Private chef services
A private chef costs more than cooking yourselves but less than eating out every night as a large group, and saves organising. We offer private chefs and can pre-stock groceries. The price depends on the number of meals and the menu.
Sport fishing
Charters run from Los Sueños Marina in Herradura. Prices depend on boat size, half-day or full-day trips, and how many people go. Book a few weeks ahead in peak season.
ATV tours and ziplining
Usually priced per person, so the cost scales directly with group size. Check whether transport to the tour is included.
Restaurants and nightlife
Downtown Jaco has a wide range of restaurants and bars. Costs depend entirely on your group’s plans. Book large tables in advance.
What changes the total
- Group size: shared costs (villa, chef, driver) fall per person as the group grows; per-person activities do not.
- Travel dates: dry season and holidays cost more; the green season (May to November) is usually cheaper.
- Villa choice: Los Sueños homes, private pools and ocean views cost more than downtown condos.
- Activity choices: fishing charters are the biggest optional expense; beach and pool days cost little.
