How to get to jaco costa rica?

Air:

There is no regional airport in Jaco. However, Jaco is only an hour and a half from Alajuela’s Juan Santa Maria International Airport. The nearest airport to Jaco, serviced by local carriers Sansa and Nature Air, is 50 minutes away in Quepos, Manuel Antonio.

Bus:

Buses leave the Coca Cola Station (Avenida 1 and Calle 16) at 5 a.m., 7:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m.; 2223-1109.

Any bus heading south of Jaco, such as those to Quepos or Manuel Antonio, will stop at Hermosa Beach. A taxi from Jaco to Hermosa Beach costs between $10 and $15, while buses from Jaco to Hermosa cost $1.

SHUTTLE BUS:

Shuttle buses to Jaco and its surrounding hotels leave from both downtown San Jose and the Juan Santamaria International Airport. Prices are $45 per person each way, with an additional $15 for transporting surfboards. Departures are scheduled daily at 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. from San Jose hotels, and at 8 a.m. and 3:55 p.m. from Juan Santamaria Airport ( minimum of two people required for the afternoon).

Taxi

Taking a taxi from Juan Santamara airport (SJO) to Jaco Beach is a safe and convenient mode of transportation. Several taxi companies operate at the airport and can be booked in advance or obtained directly from the airport taxi ranks.
Please keep in mind that official San Jose taxis are red with a yellow triangle on each side. Under normal traffic conditions, the taxi ride from SJO to Jaco Beach takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
